Alan Stein is a petroleum geologist with over 25 years international experience. He was a founder and former CEO of Fusion Oil & Gas plc (AIM) and Ophir Energy plc (LSE). Dr Stein is currently the non-executive chairman of Hanno Resources which has extensive mineral exploration interests in northwest Africa. Dr Stein is also non-executive chairman and one of the founders of Neon Energy, having been involved in the acquisition of the corporate database in 2005.
