Alan Krawitz, founding director of Smailes Krawitz, has over 20 years of experience acting for privately-owned enterprises, high net-worth individuals and corporate groups in the areas of tax, trusts, wills, estates and commercial law.
Prior to establishing Smailes Krawitz in 2021, Mr Krawitz led the private client law team as a director at Ernst & Young in Perth. He was also a partner of Norton & Smailes, the pre-eminent tax law firm in Western Australia before its acquisition by Ernst & Young in 2016.
Mr Krawitz is admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of Western Australia and is entitled to practice in the High Court of Australia, the Federal Court of Australia and the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
