Alan Bishop

Alan Bishop is the founding principal of EBM in 1975 and has over 40 years of insurance broking experience. He was national president of the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) from 1996 to 1998, served 15 years as director, and was awarded an Honourary Fellowship. Mr Bishop was involved in steering EBM to become the largest privately-owned Australian broker, and in directing the insurance broking industry through some of its most turbulent times such as the HIH crisis and the introduction of the Financial Services Reform Act (FSRA).
