
Adam Rhodes became state general manager of Willis Towers Watson in October 2019. Prior to that, he was managing director of Origin Insurance Brokers, Australia’s first Aboriginal-owned corporate insurance broker which operates on Porter’s principle of “shared value” by developing opportunities for indigenous professionals and using insurance as a vehicle to increase cultural awareness, diversity and inclusion. Mr Rhodes was also chief executive of Lockton Companies Australia where he established its Australian operations, overseeing the opening of four offices in four years. He commenced his working career with Minter Ellison as an insurance litigation solicitor before moving into the broking industry, and has held senior leadership roles with international brokers.
