New buds amid Sino slowdown
A moderation in the growth of China's economy has sharpened the focus on trade opportunities beyond the mining and resources sector.
Adam Handley has a significant track record in advising Federal and State governments on major regulatory and commercial projects. He is widely regarded as one of the leading legal advisers to major foreign government and non-government investors investing in Australia.
Having been a partner for more than 24 years, his practice spans corporate, M&A, projects (including government) and regulatory, with a strong focus on outbound investment for North Asian mergers and acquisitions, and project development – primarily in mining, agribusiness, and infrastructure.
Mr Handley is recognised in Chambers Asia Pacific as a China expert, having twice been named Lawyer of the Year in WA for mining and regulatory, and in Best Lawyers for his regulatory M&A expertise.
He is the convenor and moderator of the Western Australian’ Premiers WA China Strategic Resources Dialogue, and has held various senior roles within the Australian China Business Council for 15 years.
