AssociationsIn 2005, Stirling Business Enterprise Centre formed an alliance with the Stirling Business Association called the Stirling Business Alliance. Trading as the Stirling Regional Business Centre, it opened the first incubator in 2006, formed to accelerate development of small and medium size business in the Stirling region. Its mission, enable the creation of small business, foster sustainability and to create new jobs in the region of Stirling.
With Government funding being reduced, the Stirling Business Enterprise Centre recognised the need to be self-funding, and established the WA Business Assist branding in 2012. The aim was to focus on quality business advisory and mentoring services, and become the centre of choice for those organisations looking to grow and achieve success. The brand lay dormant until 2014 when it was reviewed and piloted as a product of the Small Business Centre Stirling. After the success of the pilot program, the brand was officially launched in 2015.
