RPS boosted by Aquaterra deal
ENVIRONMENTAL consulting firm RPS Group has boosted its position in the Perth market with the recent acquisition of water resource and environmental consultancy Aquaterra Consulting.
The previous company URS Corporation, was a provider of engineering, construction and technical services for public agencies and private sector companies worldwide. They offered a full range of program management; planning, design and engineering; systems engineering and technical assistance; information technology; construction and construction management; operations and maintenance; and decommissioning and closure services for federal, oil and gas, infrastructure, power and industrial projects. URS was acquired by AECOM in October, 2014. Together AECOM and URS are one of the world’s premier, fully integrated infrastructure and support services firms and now operate under the AECOM umbrella.
