Tamad Technology

Founded by Edward Simakoloyi in November 2015, Tamad Technology was a software firm that produced the TAMAD system ('Tech for Urban Nomads') and Tamad app, the latter in association with fellow Perth firm Lateral.

The Tamad app - which launched in May 2016 in Australia, USA, Canada and the UK - allowed users to set up their phones to automatically text a recipient when they are a chosen number of minutes away. The app is marketed at couriers, business people travelling to appointments, and casual users who want to inform friends of their arrival.

Tamad Technology has since ceased operations.
