Clean power company Enerji has revealed its first hybrid solar thermal power station will be housed at one of Northern Star’s mines, and future renewable energy projects with the gold miner are being considered.
Plans for a $15 million renewable power station originally slated for a council in the state’s Mid West have been redeveloped for use at a Western Australian mine.
Funding issues may jeopardise a renewable power station proposed for the Mid West town of Morawa, which continues to suffer from an unreliable power supply.
