Royal Agricultural Society of Western Australia (RAS) was established in 1831. It is a member-based not-for-profit apolitical organisation based in Perth, WA. RAS's role is to promote the significance of rural Western Australia and the state's primary industries. The society is also responsible for the organisation and management of Western Australia's largest annual community event, the Perth Royal Show.
