The Resources Technology and Critical Minerals Trailblazer is led by Curtin University and is one of six Trailblazers participating in the Australian Government’s Trailblazer Universities Program supported by the Department of Education.
The RTCM Trailblazer program seeks to build new research capabilities and drive commercialisation in resources and critical minerals industries across Australia.
The Curtin matched $50 million of government funding to start the hub, and then generated more than equivalent support from university and industry partners for a total value of the initiative of over $200 million.
Curtin University is partnering with The University of Queensland and James Cook University to encourage the translation and commercialisation of university research, strengthening capability with cutting-edge solutions. We’re solving real-world problems by connecting industry with researchers, students and academia.
