Polytechnic West
Since first establishing as Perth Technical School in the early 1900s, Polytechnic West has grown significantly and changed names a number of times. The organisation was known as Swan TAFE, until the current name of Polytechnic West was adopted in 2009, to recognise the shift made towards offering a full range of education and training options, from Certificate I through to Associate Degrees.
Polytechnic West is one of Western Australia’s largest training providers, with over 30,000 students per year studying a huge range of courses. Polytechnic West is committed to enhancing education and training options for individuals and employers though cutting edge facilities and technology, lecturers with real industry expertise and learning programs designed with significant input from industry to ensure highly skilled, job-ready graduates.
