Nevada Iron Limited engaged in the development, discovery, and exploration of various mineral properties in Australia and the United States. It explores for iron ore, gold, and nickel sulphide minerals. The company primarily owned a 100% interest in Buena Vista magnetite project located in Nevada, the United States. It also held a 100% interest in the Loongana project that consists of 2 exploration licenses situated in the Nullarbor Plain, Western Australia; and a 100% interest in the Narracoota project located in north of Meekatharra, Western Australia. The company was formerly known as Richmond Mining Limited and changed its name to Nevada Iron Limited in March 2012. In early 2017 Nevada Iron ceased operations after its reverse takeover by Singapore-headquartered tech firm Sports Hero.
