Kimberley Cotton Company was formed April 2021 to establish a multi-user cotton processing facility in Kununurra, in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.
In November 2022, a key milestone was reached in raising funds to proceed with construction. The project is expected to be completed in time for the commencement of the picking season in mid-2025, and exports of Ord cotton commencing thereafter.
