Innovation Centre of WA
The Innovation Centre of WA was a government funded facility, which aimed to:
- enable innovators to take their ideas from concept to a viable business through education, expert advice and provision of networking opportunities
- create a robust and sustainable innovation and commercialisation infrastructure in WA through the Centre and its Business Incubator, and an accompanying regional program with the Australian Marine Complex Jakovich Henderson as the focus for manufacturing innovation
- provide leadership and a focal point for innovation and commercialisation by providing a physical, easily accessible location and open location for innovation in WA and through the creation of collaborative relationships across the innovation eco-system including tertiary institutions, industry, investors, government and professional service provider
