Houghton Winery was established in 1836 and is one of Australia's oldest operating wineries.
In 2019, Houghton Winery received a 5 red star winery rating in the Halliday Wine Companion 2019, recognising it as an "Outstanding winery which regularly produces wines of exemplary quality and typicity" for the 10th consecutive year.
