Golden West was a Leederville microbrewery that took its name from an old carbonated beverages company that operated in Leederville from 1896 until it was acquired by Coca-Cola Amatil in the 1970s.
Rolling out its products over the summer of 2018-19, Golden West was primarily found on taps across the craft beer specialists of the wider Leederville area. Golden West focused on “gateway craft” with its beers distributed across the modern pale ale and lager segments.
Golden West Brewing Co. went into administration in February 2024 and sold its Subiaco premises to Found Brewing in May.
