Explaurum Limited, formerly known as Louisiana Petroleum Limited, engaged in the acquisition and exploration of mineral projects in Africa. The company primarily explored for gold and tin. It held interests in the Maniema project, which covers 930 square kilometres in east central Democratic Republic of Congo, Central Africa. Explaurum completed a drilling program at the Mitunda and Mbutu prospects in June 2012 that potentially identified two flat-lying mineralised structures.
Explaurum was acquired by Ramelius Resources in March 2019.
