Continental Coal

Continental Coal Limited engages in the production and sale of thermal coal in South Africa. The company primarily holds interests in the Vlakvarkfontein and Ferreira mines. It also holds interests in various development projects in South Africa, as well as exploration projects in Botswana. The company was formerly known as Continental Capital Limited and changed its name to Continental Coal Limited in July 2009. In April 2016 the Australian Securities and Investments Commission successfully applied to the Federal Court for the appointment of a liquidator to Continental Coal.
