Coalspur Mines was a former ASX and TSX listed company which was acquired by KC Euroholdings in June 2015. It engaged in the acquisition, exploration, and development of thermal coal resource projects primarily in Canada. The company owned approximately 55,000 hectares of mineral leases in the Hinton region of Alberta. It held an 100% interest in the Vista coal project, which covers an area of approximately 10,000 hectares in North America. Coalspur Mines Limited also exported coal primarily to the Asia Pacific Rim countries, including China, Japan, and Korea. The company was formerly known as Xenolith Resources Limited and changed its name to Coalspur Mines Limited in September 2009.
