Coalition wants marine parks reassessed
The opposition says the federal government needs to go back to the drawing board on its proposed network of marine parks.
The Australian Marine Conservation Society (AMCS) is a national charity dedicated solely to protecting marine wildlife.
AMCS is staffed by scientists, educators, and advocates who have worked to defend Australia’s oceans since 1965.
AMCS advocates for real, evidence-based solutions based on the best available science.
It works closely with research centres worldwide and employs conservation experts to drive its mission to protect Australia’s extraordinary oceans.
