With more than 8,500 members, the Australian Institute of Project Management is Australia’s peak body and membership association for project professionals.
The organisation was founded in NSW in 1976 as the Project Managers' Forum, before expanding to other eastern states. It changed name to AIPM in 1989, and merged with the Western Australian Project Management Association in 1997.
