Alcyone Resources Limited engaged in the exploration and evaluation of gold, silver, and other base metal projects in Australia. It principally held interests in the Texas silver and polymetallic project, which includes the Twin Hills Heap Leach silver mine and a portfolio of silver and polymetallic base metal exploration targets in south-east Queensland. The company was formerly known as Macmin Silver Ltd and changed its name to Alcyone Resources Limited in October 2009. Alcyone appointed administrators in November 2014, and was delisted from the ASX in September 2015.
