ARA Marine formed in 2021 when the ARA Group acquired two of Australia’s most well-known maritime specialists Wiltrading STACE and OceanLink. Marine Fire Services was then acquired at the beginning of 2023, opening ARA Marine’s capabilities and services within the New Zealand market. ARA Marine has fully equipped facilities and accredited service technicians located around Australia including Perth, Karratha, Darwin, Cairns, Gladstone, Sydney, and Melbourne. ARA Marine provides specialty marine safety services, technical support and engineering solutions to the commercial shipping, yacht, and offshore maritime industry.
Wiltrading was founded in 1986 and STACE Pty Ltd (Systems Testing and Certification Engineering) has been operating in Australia since 1994. The two formally merged in 2015 to create Wiltrading STACE. Following the ARA Group’s acquisition of Wiltrading STACE in May 2021, the company changed its name to ARA Marine in November 2022.
