James is focusing on driving growth and new business models particularly in the Energy sector. He has been closely involved in the digitisation of the energy sector, driving business development and growth within the rapidly changing energy landscape. James currently leads the Utilities team in Australia at global energy management specialist Schneider Electric. 

He previously led the Strategy & Market Development for Energy Technology business Edge Electrons. He was the GM of Strategy for Energy Australia where his role encompassed overall strategy as well as new technologies and businesses including Smart Grid Smart City, Embedded Networks, Smart Metering, EVs and storage. He also worked for Origin on International markets and partnerships for new models engaging customers and data.
