Dominique’s career spans elite sport, science, food industry, zoos, cemeteries, central government and she is now the Chief Executive Officer of Leadership WA.
With well over two decades in federal and state government agencies, Dominique has demonstrated history of maximising revenue opportunities balanced with a philosophy of delivering public value and creating positive impact on the community, She builds strong relationships with government, industry, non-government organisations and individuals to create results that matter. She is committed to developing people to achieve their best potential and has excellent skills in translating strategic vision into operational reality, creating high performing teams and results that matter.
She has previously held roles at the Australian Institute of Sport, Questacon - The National Science and Technology Centre, Perth Zoo, the Department of Agriculture and Food, the Metropolitan Cemeteries Board and the Department of Premier and Cabinet, WA.
With an enduring commitment to supporting the development of others, after a successful career in the public service, Dominique chose to move into the not-for-profit sector to take on the role at Leadership WA.
She holds an Executive Masters in Public Administration, a Bachelor of Arts with language majors and a Graduate Diploma in Marketing. She is a Fellow of Leadership WA, a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a certified Prince 2 Practitioner and a qualified Civil Celebrant.
In 2016 Dominique was named Leadership Western Australia's "Distinguished Fellow". The award is described as “recognising the exceptional contributions and leadership you have achieved for both Leadership WA and Western Australian community”. She was also Specially Commended in the 2017 Institute of Public Administration Australia Achievement Awards for Leader of the Year. Dominique is also currently Chair of TADWA - Technology Assisting Disabilities WA.
