Swarup Afsar
Swarup Afsar is a pharmacist, pharmacy owner, healthcare entrepreneur, industry leader, and cricket tragic. He’s developed and grown several pharmacies, inspiring strong teams and a culture of community service. A proprietor since 23, Swarup and his wife own and run six Pharmacy 777 branches in Western Australia and five in Victoria.

Swarup believes pharmacies are an underutilised asset in Australia’s healthcare system. He’s successfully developed a new model of care to reduce hospitalisation rates within the community. His pharmacy’s growth averages 9-10 times higher than industry benchmarks.

Swarup is the only two-time winner of the National Pharmacy of the Year Award. UTS awarded him Australian Innovative Pharmacist of the Year and he has received national recognition for his community mental health programs.

A father of four children under 5 years old, Swarup founded the Royal Bengal Cricket Club in WA and currently serves as a Multicultural Ambassador for Cricket Australia.

Patricia Alessi
Patricia Alessi CMVT is focussed on helping clients achieve their voice's functionality at its best. As Australia's first and only Certified McClosky Voice Technician, Patricia's goal is functional efficiency via a client-focussed approach to assist clients with achieving their vocal goals. Patricia regularly works with clients who rely upon their voices for their professions to ensure uninterrupted success. She is a registered consultant for Local Government Areas (LGAs) throughout Australia, including far north Queensland, providing corporate vocal care, and she is a registered consultant for the Department of Education, providing vocal care for educators across the state. Her expertise is world-renowned, and she is regularly invited to lecture and present on the importance of vocal care in professions with high vocal workloads. A lauded professional musician herself, she represented Australia to Germany in 2014-2015 (Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst) and is a Peer Assessor and Industry Advisor for Creative Australia.

George Baramily
From a young age, I was determined to succeed. Growing up in Newman with my mother and sisters in government housing, I became the man of the house early on. I worked hard through school and was selected as the only electrical apprentice for BHP that year, laying the foundation for my career.

After working FIFO as an electrician, I combined my passion for property with my electrical skills and began building my investment portfolio at 19, enhancing the value of each property.

In 2014, I founded Bara Electrical from the back of my ute. Through word of mouth, the business rapidly expanded, and I hired additional electricians to keep up. Ten years later, Bara Electrical has become one of WA’s largest real estate electrical contractors, servicing over 200 agencies. This year, our team has grown to 40 staff, and projected FY25 revenue of $5.8 million.

Justin Barnes
A community-driven leader, entrepreneur, and changemaker, using business as a vehicle to create lasting social impact. As President of Team Perth, Justin has supported 50+ LGBTQIA+ groups, fostering inclusivity and grassroots sport development. Through Rocket Launcher & Perth Networking Club, he has merged business growth with community upliftment, providing $135,000+ in donations and in-kind support to not-for-profits since the business inception while driving 50%+ business growth in the last financial year.
Justin played a pivotal role in Perth’s 2030 Gay Games bid, securing a Top 3 global finalist position, with the potential to inject $100M+ into WA’s economy. His 1,700+ volunteer hours in sport, advocacy, and mental health initiatives have strengthened WA’s LGBTQIA+ landscape. Recognised as a Life Member of Perth Spectres Basketball Club, his work has directly led to the expansion of LGBTQIA+ sport, fundraising, and leadership programs. His vision is to continue scaling social enterprises and community impact.

Oliver Bazzani
Oliver Bazzani is a Director of Biodesign Australia and Perth Biodesign, where he fosters the next generation of innovators solving important problems in healthcare through technology. With broad experience across the Australian startup ecosystem, Oliver is recognised as a trusted advisor and investor to leading startups, accelerators, and venture funds. He has influenced state-level innovation policy as a Founding Board Member of the WA Government’s Innovation Advisory Board, and supports the Regions serving as Chair of Regional Arts WA.

Previously, Oliver built businesses in the digital health and creative industries, designed the Australian Clinical Entrepreneur and Dream Venture Programs, led the innovation function at the Child and Adolescent Health Service, managed WA’s largest Angel investor network, and was an ambassador for West Tech Fest. Oliver’s mission is clear: to build transformative platforms that unlock potential, foster economic growth, and enhance the well-being of WA.

Garrett Bray
Garrett’s track record of achievement spans multiple industries and geographies.

During his early career as a structural engineer Garrett won Engineers Australia National Young Professional Engineer of the Year.

Transitioning to management consultant at McKinsey, Garrett led high impact strategy and transformation engagements with leading companies across a range of industries across Australasia and Europe.

After moving to a senior role at Transport for London, Garrett led teams to tackle high impact projects such as the zero emission bus strategy.

In 2021, Garrett moved to Silicon Valley where he led key product building initiatives for autonomous trucking technology company Aurora Innovation (NASDAQ:AUR).

Garrett has now returned to Perth as Chief Operating Officer for biotech PYC Therapuetics (ASX:PYC), where he helps deliver and prepare for commercial launch four first in class drug programs for genetic diseases.

Garrett holds 5 degrees including a PhD from Cambridge University.

Matthew Bruce
Having a career spanning 20 years in the industry across Australia and SE Asia, in 2018 I made the decision to start Wallace PM on the premise of leveraging my strong local (Perth born and bred) network to provide exceptional service.

The Wallace Group is boutique and non-traditional in our offering, with Wallace PM our end-to-end project management arm, Wallace Advisory providing independent and strategic advice and Session Equity is our property funds management, investment and syndication arm. These businesses vertically integrate to provide a seamless 'one stop shop' for our clients.

Tamara Burchell
Tamara Burchell is a highly accomplished hospitality leader and the General Manager of the iconic Roebuck Bay Hotel in Broome, where she has worked for the past eight years. Tamara’s leadership has driven the venue to multiple award wins, including Best Business with 21+ Employees at the Broome Business Awards and finalist placements in the AHA Excellence in Hospitality Awards. Recognised as AHA WA's Best Venue Manager of the Year, she is known for her innovative approach to events, community engagement, and supporting local initiatives such as Broome Pride and the Broome Turf Club. Tamara’s vision extends to expanding Roebuck Bay Hotel’s impact by developing new event concepts and fostering collaboration with local artists and businesses. Eliza Carbines
A recognised leader in Western Australia’s startup and innovation ecosystem, Eliza Carbines is the founder of Tender Relief Consulting and tech startup Tender Relief AI, revolutionising integrity-driven best-practice tendering for SMEs. She is a board member for the State Government’s Small Business Development Corporation (SBDC) and Innovation Advisory Board (JTSI), supporting both the Minister for Small Business and Innovation.

Eliza plays a key role in WA’s entrepreneurial landscape, previously serving on the MIT Regional Entrepreneur Accelerator Program Committee (2022 & 2023), Meshpoints’ Entrepreneurial Sector, and JTSI’s Regional Innovation Industry Advisory Group (current). In 2023, she co-founded SEED Innovation Foundation Karratha to support regional entrepreneurs.

Known for bridging grassroots regional challenges with macroeconomic strategy, Eliza brings a unique and educated perspective to business growth, regional development, and Government policy. Her work continues to shape tendering and procurement accessibility, economic diversity, and the future of innovation in WA, particularly in the regions.

Oliver Carrick
Oliver is a partner in Corrs' Perth corporate advisory practice. He has a passion for corporate transactional work, specialising in public M&A, Equity Capital Markets and boardroom advisory. He is confident in his pragmatic navigation of cross border transactions, securing certainty whilst maximising leverage for his instructors. Whilst sector agnostic, Oliver has specialist expertise advising developers and operators in the energy & resources industry. Oliver is national co-head of Corrs’ ECM practice and recognised in legal directories in his practice areas, including most recently in Legal 500 as a leading lawyer in Corrs’ Corporate practice and in the peer reviewed Best Lawyers List for 2024. Sarah Chong
Sarah Chong is a Delivery Lead at Fortescue, a global technology, energy, and metals company. Since joining in 2021, she has spearheaded a technology portfolio and, in three years, transformed every part of the business, growing the products by 733% and increasing user adoption by 17400%. She championed the Emergency Duress solution, which revolutionised safety for remote workers and is now in the process of being scaled globally.

Sarah is a graduate of the University of Western Australia, has attained globally recognised accreditations, and has held leadership positions across public, NGO, and private sector companies.

Sarah has led multi-million-dollar strategic transformation programs in the Health and Mining industries. This includes leading the transformation and change of Women's and Children's Health systems in the Northern Territory improving healthcare accessibility for Australians.

She advocates for mentally healthy workspaces, diversity, and inclusion, and believes that people are the life force of every organisation.

Ellie Coates
Ellie is an experienced leader in heavy industry globally, with a focus on strategy, technology and operations. Ellie began her career in copper and iron ore processing in the USA and Australia. She has held multiple operational leadership roles, before transitioning to global leadership positions in technology, innovation, business development, and strategy, with a focus on automation and decarbonisation.

Ellie joined Fortescue in 2022, driven by a passion to accelerate the energy transition. Prior to becoming Fortescue Zero CEO in late 2024, Ellie held senior leadership positions within the Metals business and across Fortescue Group, including most recently Director of Strategy and Innovation, where she oversaw the development and delivery of Fortescue’s innovation in mobility and process. This included industry leading plans to eliminate fossil fuels from Australian operations, and then from the broader supply chain, including Green Iron Metal.

Sharna Collard
Sharna is a Noongar woman who is proud to contribute towards a prosperous Aboriginal business sector in Australia through her role as Chief Executive Officer at Kooya Australia Fleet Solutions, Kooya Rental Solutions and Kooya Salary Packaging. A percentage of all profits from these businesses are invested into the Aboriginal community through the Bibbulmun Fund, where Sharna is a Board Member.

Lucy Cooke
Lucy Cooke is the founder of SpaceDraft, a groundbreaking digital platform driving behavioural change by transforming how people communicate across space and time. Language-agnostic and universally accessible, SpaceDraft simplifies complex scenarios, enabling teams to rehearse, visualise, and execute plans with clarity and precision. US Secretary of State Gina Riamondo called SpaceDraft the most powerful tool to help save human energy. A seventh-generation Western Australian and former Hollywood Visual Effects Coordinator, Lucy invented SpaceDraft to address communication challenges across industries. Originally designed for non-verbal autistic children, it has evolved into a powerful tool used by global organisations like Disney, BHP, and Accenture. Under Lucy’s leadership, SpaceDraft has saved millions in operational costs, fostered inclusion in diverse networks, and enabled seamless collaboration in defense, healthcare, and mining. Luke Cousins
Luke Cousins, the Director of Pilecom, has transformed his family-owned construction company into an industry leader in solar farm development. Founded in Western Australia in 2011, Pilecom, under Cousins’ leadership has become a multinational business with headquarters in Perth and an additional office in Sydney that support the project sites.
Beginning in equipment supply, Pilecom has evolved into a full-service contractor specialising in mechanical installation of solar farms. Cousins has led this shift, steering the company through significant growth. Since inception, the workforce has expanded from just one employee to a team of over 150, a testament to the company’s rapid success and his strategic vision. Some of Pilecom’s projects boast nearly one million solar panels, solidifying the company’s status as Australia’s largest mechanical contractor in the sector.

Daniel Dawson
Dan is the founder and CEO of Paperly, a SaaS platform simplifying school administration. Having worked at a school and experienced first-hand the frustrations around inefficiencies schools face daily, Dan built Paperly while being a father to three young children and has since driven the company to consistently doubling annual recurring revenue every six months and helping schools across Australia and internationally save time, reduce errors and improve operational efficiency. Dan is also a passionate basketball coach for his daughter's U10 basketball team.

Kristi Dempster
Kristi Dempster is the founder and director of Assembly + Co, a strategic place activation and property marketing agency based in Perth. Since launching the company in 2016, Kristi has led retail and place strategy development for major Perth projects, including 140 William Street, FOMO Fremantle, DFO Perth, and Curtin University Exchange, among others.

With over 15 years of experience, Kristi has managed $18.65M in marketing investment and attracted 5.5M+ visitors statewide, driving economic growth and supporting local businesses. Her work in the Perth CBD has generated $31.86M in economic impact, drawing 3.5M additional visitors. Benn Ellard
Benn has been pivotal in the growth of White Spark Pictures since joining in 2019, leading the strategic, financial, and technological advancements of the company. George Eskander
A/Prof Eskander is a transformative healthcare leader with over 15 years of international executive experience. Serving as the Executive Director Clinical Transformation & Performance at the Department of Health and accountable directly to the Director General, he has spearheaded initiatives that have transformed organisations.

George's contributions extend nationally as a former Board member of the WA Medical Board of Australia and as an expert for bodies such as the Care Quality Commission and General Medical Council. An Associate Professor at Curtin University and a former Chief Examiner at the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, he serves as a Senior Medical Assessor to the Australian Council for Healthcare Standards (ACHS), as a Non-Executive Director on multiple boards, and as a Specialist GP.

His leadership has been recognised through multiple awards and accolades, including most recently as the Institute of Public Administration WA Winner for ‘Best Practice in Health and Wellbeing’.

Rachel Falzon
With over a decade of experience in the defence sector, I founded the Women in Defence Association in 2024 to address the persistent gender inequities I observed, particularly around career progression and pay disparity. With forecasts predicting the gender pay gap and leadership imbalances won’t close for another 20 years, I recognized the need for systemic change rather than focusing solely on empowering women to adapt to an inequitable environment. The Association launched in WA and has since expanded to SA, ACT, and NSW, with plans for Queensland, NT, and Victoria by mid-2025. Our initiatives have already made a significant impact, including gender-balanced networking events (achieving a 50:50 male-to-female ratio at our latest event), and a mentoring program that has resulted in multiple promotions for participants, including board members. Our work continues to accelerate gender equity in the defence sector with measurable outcomes and ambitious goals for the future.

Tanya Fitzgerald
Tanya Fitzgerald is the business manager of Rigsafe, a $21 million rigging company working on some of the biggest tier-one construction projects in WA, including train stations, film studios and skyscrapers.

Rigsafe was founded by Tanya’s husband, Kevin, a boilermaker/rigger, in December 2015, using $30,000 from the sale of Tanya’s first home. From that initial investment, Rigsafe has grown to become one of Perth’s top three rigging companies, employing 72 people, with an average year-on-year growth rate of 52%.

Tanya has been central to Rigsafe’s success. Initially joining the business (part-time, while still working at WA Police) to help Kevin, her passion and upskilling equipped her to lead everything from finance and investment to culture, training and industrial relations—while raising three young boys.

Thanks to Tanya, Rigsafe is an ISO-certified, Platinum WorkSafe, Master Builders’ Association award-winning business, with loyal employees and clients and an excellent growth plan.

Sharni Foulkes
I am a dynamic leader and advocate for regional growth and community prosperity. As the CEO of the Broome Chamber of Commerce and Industry, I have spearheaded transformative initiatives that have driven significant growth in revenue, membership, and workforce development. My passion lies in fostering innovation, supporting small businesses, and enhancing economic opportunities in Broome and the wider Kimberley region. With a deep understanding of regional challenges and opportunities, I excel in building collaborative relationships across all levels of government, industry, and community organisations. My strategic vision is grounded in creating sustainable futures, supporting First Nations groups, and advocating for infrastructure and policy changes that enhance regional opportunity, connectivity and competitiveness. Keely Galvin
My name is Keely Galvin and I qualified as a speech pathologist with honours in 2019. I initially worked as an employee before commencing as a sole trader in 2021. Due to growth I transitioned to a company in 2023, currently employing 11 staff. I now own and operate two private paediatric speech clinics trading as CommuniKids Speech Therapy. We work with children aged 0 to 19 with a range of communication difficulties and diagnoses including autism, ADHD and Down Syndrome. I am passionate about neurodiversity affirming practice and working collaboratively with families. In addition to this, I published my debut novel in December 2024 under a book deal with a UK branch of Harper Collins for a young adult fantasy trilogy under the pseudonym Katie Galvin.

Ben Gibson
Ben Gibson is the Co-Founder and CFO of Humdrum, a disability support provider that managed to create a fun, colourful, and boisterous community within the drab bureaucracy of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Ben built Humdrum with sheer determination, coffee, and a small kitchen table. Today, it stands as the only NDIS Digital Provider in Western Australia, and one of only 11 nationally. Humdrums grown over 5 years into a community which supports more than 270 people living with disabilities and employs over 300 support workers.

A self-taught provocateur, Ben learned how to code and developed the technology on which his business is based, all without traditional training.

Ben’s career spans continents and industries, from a gardening business, to milking sea lions, to mentoring startups, and creating incubator programs in Mongolia. His work combines cutting-edge technology with inclusive practices, delivering solutions that create both social impact and measurable results.

Kate Gibson
Im Kate Gibson, founder of The Hike Collective, an award-winning adventure tourism company redefining wellness and connection through nature. Starting in 2016 as a mental health initiative, I’ve grown The Hike Collective into a thriving business, delivering over 2,000 guided hiking and wellness experiences across Western Australia. We’ve earned multiple accolades, including three consecutive WA Adventure Tourism Awards, securing Hall of Fame status. Through innovative multi-day tours, wellness programs like Zen in the Zoo, and conservation-focused partnerships, I’ve championed accessibility and sustainability in tourism. My leadership has expanded our reach to thousands of guests while driving a 100% growth in profit in the past year. With plans to expand interstate and introduce five new wellness products, I’m focused on creating meaningful, life-changing experiences. From grassroots beginnings to industry recognition, my journey reflects a commitment to innovation, community impact, and transforming how people connect with nature.

Kylie Hansen
Kylie has traversed the academic, corporate, not-for-profit, social enterprise and impact investment sectors, deep diving into a myriad of specialisations. Her six tertiary qualifications are equally as diverse and complimentary, covering commerce, politics, social impact, community development, project management and law. As a founder of Impact Seed she has been instrumental in developing the impact measurement, evaluation and ESG practice which advises numerous corporates. Over the past decade of building WA's leading impact advisory and market builder, Kylie has built a sustainable impact business which has not only supported 200 impact entrepreneurs in their own startup and social innovation journey, but has been instrumental to the development of Australia's first place based impact investment fund in WA in 2019, and WA's first catalytic impact fund in 2024. She is widely regarded as a leader across sectors for her advocacy work, and support of innovation and impact through numerous board roles.

Brad Holder
Hi, I’m Brad Holder, Founder of PCC Productions, an award-winning AV company based in Port Hedland. I established PCC Productions to address the lack of quality AV equipment and crew in the region, which was limiting live music performances. Since then, we’ve transformed the Pilbara’s entertainment landscape, enabling artists such as Lee Kernaghan, Amy Shark, Eskimo Joe, and The Black Sorrows to perform locally.

Our commitment to excellence has earned multiple accolades, including the 2023 Overall Business of the Year and Best Business with 5-10 Employees at the PHCCI Business Excellence Awards, and finalist recognition in the 2024 WA Regional Business Excellence Awards. I’ve also had the honor of representing WA twice in the Global Battle of the Bands Australasian Finals and received the Active Citizenship Award for Port Hedland twice.

Winning this award would honor our ongoing efforts to elevate local entertainment and support regional cultural growth.

Laura Hunter
As CEO of the Australian Council on Smoking & Health (ACOSH) Laura leads an independent coalition of thirty-three prominent Australian health, education, community, social service and research bodies. Faced with an escalating youth vaping crisis, Laura worked with the national public health sector to coordinate lobbying of Federal Parliamentarians in support of evidence-based policy solutions and driving a political media campaign which debunked the tobacco industry’s misinformation. This work was integral to shaping and passing Australia’s world leading legislation to shut down retail sales of vaping products in 2024. Early research into the impact of these laws indicate fewer young Australians are now vaping, smoking and purchasing their own vapes.

Committed to future proofing next generations, Laura has significantly expanded ACOSH with increased funding and research capabilities and the creation of Australia’s first tobacco industry watchdog to keep pressure on an industry which constantly reinvents its deadly products and tactics

Chris Isaacs
I'm a theatre professional with over fifteen years of experience in my field. I am a co-founding artists of theatre company The Last Great Hunt, where I was a key colaborator and writer on multiple award winning and international touring shows. Currently I work as the literary director at Black Swan State Theatre Company of WA. My main responsibilities are to help engage artists, support new writing and writers, and source the most suitable plays from around the world to programme in our annual seasons. In the last two years I have built three develpment programs for Western Australian writers, assisted in securing multiple funds for new WA work to be developed, commissioned over 15 writers for various projects, helped developed new scripts to productions, helped build avenues for writers to have their worked performed in Perth, and supported the local sector through various acts of mentorship and teaching.

Caitlin Iustini
I am Caitlin Iustini, Director at PARTNER, an executive search firm specialising in placing business leaders into the infrastructure, capital projects, mining, energy, and renewables. Since 2015, I have been a prominent advocate, driving positive change in leadership diversity. In recognition of my efforts, I was appointed to the board of CEOs for Gender Equity. My career to date has been marked by a commitment to challenging traditional hiring practices and fostering inclusive leadership. Looking ahead, I aim to continue expanding my influence, advocating for progressive hiring practices, and fostering greater equality in leadership.

Amelia Kaldani
Amelia Kaldani is the Operations Manager at St Jude's Health Care Services with over 15 years' experience in healthcare. Graduating with a bachelor's degree in nursing in 2011 she has worked in tertiary hospitals, specializing in Emergency, Cardiology, and Psychiatric Nursing.

In her current role, Amelia supports individuals with disability and Mental Health challenges transition out from institutions, prisons, and long-term hospital admissions into stable housing with supports in place, empowering individuals to regain independence and stability.

Amelia received The Employee of the Year Award in 2019 and received the Director’s Award in 2021 for her exceptional contributions. She is a strong advocate for the rights of individuals with disabilities and psychosocial needs.

Amelia plans to pursue a Master of Business Administration to enhance her leadership capabilities and envisions expanding community support services into regional and remote areas of Australia to address the healthcare and accommodation needs of Indigenous communities.

Mitchell Kelly
I'm a co-founder and head of strategy at Pathfinder Marketing - a performance-driven digital marketing agency specialising in SEO and digital advertising.

In 2016, my business partner David Toby and I teamed up to bootstrap the business. Beginning as a side hustle, working nights and weekends to find clients on freelancer marketplaces while working full-time, we eventually gained enough traction that I could launch full-time into the business in 2018.

Fraser Kenworthy
After completing his apprenticeship as a Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic, Fraser pursued his other passion, becoming a helicopter pilot. Fraser spent years flying helicopters across the country and helping to launch a flight school but knew that he wanted to return to his trade and build something of his own. Fraser started Kenworthy Diesel in October 2018 as one mechanic with a truck. In six years it has grown to a business with an annual revenue of $10 million+. Kenworthy Diesel started as a labour hire company with the goal of providing customers with exceptional tradespeople. Kenworthy Diesel now employs over 30 staff, supplies a large fleet of earthmoving equipment for hire and owns and operates a heavy haulage division. 2024 saw Fraser's business interests expand further with the acquisition of Martin Engineering, a company with over 30 staff and a 40-year trading history, adding $10 million in annual revenue.

Ryan Khong
Ryan Khong is the Co-Founder of Word Of Mouth Agency, a local Perth-based digital marketing agency focusing on four core service sectors of design, web, social media and digital advertising. Benjamin Latimore
Ben is a proud Biripi man from Purfleet Taree on the NSW Mid North Coast. Ben holds a degree in Environmental Engineering and Masters of Business Administration and has an enduring passion for environmental and Aboriginal social outcomes. It is this passion that brought Ben to WA in 2014 to pursue a career in mining rehabilitation. Ben has managed a variety of waste management, industrial cleaning and earthworks contracts across the Pilbara and joined Buru Rehab as director in 2022 alongside Kariyarra TO and elder, George Todd and rehab guru Ray Gerrard. Through a shared passion for aboriginal social outcomes, George, Ben, and Ray have grown Buru Rehab into a major industry force that delivers tangible social outcomes for Aboriginal people through our projects.

Brianna Leake
Brianna Leake is the owner and MD of three businesses: Bri-Fit, F is for Dance, and Boom Events Co. Her businesses offer classes and special events combining fitness, dance, and fun party vibes. She targets diverse segments like women’s prisons, children’s parties, aged care facilities, hens parties, and personal fitness classes. She also works part-time as a Club Manager at Jetts Bassendean.

Bri is an accidental entrepreneur who, once she caught the bug, quickly developed a strategy to scale her business nationally while acquiring new businesses to complement her offering. She currently has 40 instructors working in nine locations across Australia and New Zealand and 706% calendar year revenue growth since 2022. Rebecca Loftus
I’m Rebecca, an educator and systems change practitioner passionate about creating alternative pathways for young people who don’t fit mainstream models of education.

Based on this passion, I have led grassroots initiatives, including growing CoderDojo WA into the world’s largest regional coding network, leading Fogarty EDfutures, a systems change initiative, and establishing IDEA Foundation to improve access to alternative education pathways for young people in WA.

As Co-Founder and Director of IDEAcademy, I have built a social enterprise that integrates industry connections, real-world experiences, and vocational credentials, offering a contemporary alternative to school for young people aged 15+.

Since 2022, IDEAcademy has expanded to two Perth campuses, supporting 150+ students weekly. Our success was recently recognised with and RAC Emerging Business Excellence Award (AIM WA Pinnacle Awards).

Teagen McEwan
My name is Teagen McEwan, I am the Techtrails Project Manager at WiTWA, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing opportunities for women in STEM. As WiTWA’s first full-time employee, I’ve driven its growth for five years, previously as Community Manager overseeing partnerships, marketing & communications. I now lead the Techtrails Programs driving STEM engagement through innovative initiatives, delivering school incursions across WA, and spearheaded the development of the STEMpower platform, featuring 300 Jobs of the Future, 30 learning modules, and 80+ role model videos. My achievements include doubling WiTWA’s membership to 8,000+, increasing Conference & Awards attendance to 700, 2 million unique total reach on social media during these events, securing partnerships with 33 organisations, inspiring 4,500+ students (with 2,000+ expected in 2025) and established 200+ role model relationships. Through these efforts, I’ve expanded WiTWA’s influence, empowered women in STEM, and inspired young West Australians to pursue rewarding careers in STEM.

David McMullen
David McMullen is Mayor of the City of Subiaco, a well-known local government district, with its 128 year history, population of around 19,000, and annual revenue exceeding $50 million.

David is also a Principal Lawyer and Commercial Practice Leader at Perth CBD law firm, Panetta McGrath; and is recognised as a pre-eminent WA lawyer in health and aged care law.

Daniel Nembhard is the Founder & CEO of Wolfit Box, a WA-born business revolutionising pet nutrition with wholefood, human-grade meals delivered directly to pet owners. Frustrated by the lack of quality dog food options, he created a direct-to-consumer subscription service offering real food for dogs. What started as a WA-based business has now expanded nationwide, with 60% year-on-year growth.

Wolfit Box has improved pet health outcomes, with over 90% of customers reporting positive changes in their dogs. Under Dan’s leadership, the company has also contributed over $400,000 to WA suppliers, creating jobs and supporting local businesses.

Dan led an R&D breakthrough that dramatically increased customer retention and profitability. His next focus is national expansion, exporting to international markets and launching new product lines.

Dan’s vision is clear; build a scalable, impact-driven company that improves pet health while fostering WA’s ecosystem.

Intan Oldakowska
Intan is a biomedical engineering scientist and entrepreneur dedicated to transforming healthcare through innovative medical devices. She works closely with clinicians to create solutions for unmet clinical needs with commercial potential. Intan completed her PhD at Curtin University, developing a novel expandable orthopaedic screw that led to the spin-out company REX Ortho, where she is CSO and Founder. She is also Founder & CEO of EarFlo, developing a non-invasive device to treat chronic ear infections in children. Her companies have won several awards, including the 2023 Australian Innovation Competition, 2023 WA Emerging Innovator of the Year, and Start-up of the Year at the 2024 INCITE Awards. In addition to her academic and entrepreneurial work, Intan teaches and mentors future medtech innovators through Perth Biodesign and Biodesign Australia, while lecturing Biomedical Engineering students at the University of Western Australia.

Joseph Oliver
I am Joseph Oliver, Co-Founder, Managing Director of Delorean Corporation Ltd, a leading ASX listed bioenergy company, head officed in Perth WA. Since emigrating from the UK and now an Australian citizen, I have played a key role in pioneering the Bioenergy sector across Australia and New Zealand. Natalie Pronin
Natalie Pronin is the founder and MD of Mayler + Co., an event management and production company based in Perth. Starting her career in film and television, Natalie transitioned to the events industry, working her way to a senior executive role at a large agency. After five years she wanted a new challenge and started her own business in 2020.

Mayler + Co. has quickly grown into a wildly successful boutique events company, with Natalie using her strong industry relationships and reputation to secure high-profile clients like Woodside, Synergy, the United Nations, FIFA and Tourism WA. Despite starting at the height of COVID, Mayler + Co. was profitable from the first year. In four years, the company has grown to 29 clients, with year-on-year growth of ~50%.

Natalie actively mentors young professionals under her guidance into the executive ranks of multinational companies. She is the mother of a two-year-old son.

Emily Purvis
Emily Purvis is a lawyer and former competitive horse rider. In 2021, she founded PURE Equine Law to provide legal services to the Australian equine industry.

Equine law covers a range of legal issues related to horses, including sales disputes, liability for accidents, stable safety, agistment contracts and racing regulation. These matters require both legal expertise and industry knowledge.

Through her deep involvement in the equestrian community, Emily saw first-hand how misinformation and a lack of accessible legal support led to poor outcomes for both people and horses. Determined to change this, she founded a niche equine law firm to fill the gap.

PURE Equine Law operates nationally with a dual service approach:
1. Accessible legal resources, including contract templates and education to help prevent disputes.

Patrick Renner
Patrick Renner is the Owner and Sole Director of Archer St Physiotherapy Centre, a community based private practice. Founded in 2007, at only 22years old, Patrick bought and renovated a 1933-character dwelling in Carlisle, transforming it into his professional dream of providing local community members with quality physiotherapeutic services.

Over 18years of trading, Archer St Physiotherapy has become a trusted multi-disciplinary centre, offering Physiotherapy, Remedial Massage, Pilates, and Post-Surgical Rehabilitation. In 2017, the business expanded to a second location in Victoria Park and currently has six employees to service their ever-growing clientele.

Patrick oversees all aspects of the business’s financial and practical operations, whilst maintaining a large clinical role as Principal Physiotherapist and working for State and National sporting teams, providing in-demand musculoskeletal management.

After winning multiple business awards, including three-time winner of Business of the Year, Patrick’s business was inducted into the local government Hall of Fame in 2024.

Steven Roberts
Steven Roberts is the Director of Oakmont Financial Group, an award-winning Financial Planning business known for its specialist advisers. Starting in the back office of one of Oakmont’s founding companies, Steven became a director in 2016 and has played a key role in driving the firm’s growth. With Steven's leadership, Oakmont has achieved double the industry average profit margins and consistent revenue growth. His efforts have garnered multiple industry awards/nominations, and he actively participates on several insurer advisory boards. Recently, Steven has led the charge on two joint ventures, expected to usher in a period of hyper growth for the business and paving the way for national expansion. Steve is committed to community engagement, currently serving as President of Kingsley Amateur Football Club and regularly volunteering alongside the other Oakmont staff at local organisations such a Ronald McDonald House and Foodbank.

Pat Ryan
Pat witnessed the profound and long-term damage being inflicted on kids from tough backgrounds, and the futility of the systems in place to be of any meaningful help before it was too late. Leaving an indelible mark, Pat joined Dismantle in 2012 to develop better ways to reach at-risk young people before they fell through the cracks and has led the charity as CEO since 2014. In just over a decade, Dismantle’s youth program, has supported thousands of WA’s most vulnerable young people change the direction of their lives, is soon to reach a $1.5m in wages paid to youth employees and is currently the chair of WA Social Enterprise Council to spearhead sector development for a more inclusive and thriving socially conscious business landscape.

Adam Schaal
Adam Schaal is reshaping a stagnant industry with Locale Property Group, launched in May 2023. The first offering, Locale Homes, full-service building brokerage, advocates for buyers by securing the right finance (through sister company Custom Financial Solutions), land, and builder tailored to their needs. In October 2024, Locale expanded with Locale Wealth, empowering Australians through property investment education to achieve financial freedom. In just 19 months, Locale has grown to 30 people and is set to expand to 45 within the year. Locale is completely self-funded, with no external loans or backers, which is important to Adam, to ensure the business remains unbiased and anchored to its core values. Starting as a sales representative in 2012, Adam advanced to Sales and Marketing Manager at Ventura Home Group. From 2020, Adam led Summit Homes Group, navigating the challenges of the COVID/building stimulus crisis. While many struggled, Summit thrived under Adam's leadership.

Christopher Schmid
Woollahra Group is a 100% Aboriginal-owned, one-stop cleaning solutions provider, serving the Mining and Facilities Maintenance sectors nationally. With a team of over 14 full-time staff, we are committed to fostering opportunities for Indigenous Australians.
We currently have two Aboriginal trainees on a 12-month program, set to achieve a Certificate III in Supply Chain by the end of 2025. Additionally, we've launched a Year 10 program, preparing students for Vocational Education. These students balance school and paid work at Woollahra, gaining practical experience while working toward a Certificate II in Supply Chain.
Through our parent company, Mandan Holdings Limited, we own Surekleen Products—the only 100% Aboriginal-owned manufacturing company in Australia. Surekleen has seen a 30% revenue increase in FY24 and is on track for 40% growth in FY25.

I am a proud Pinikura woman and member of the Puutu Kunti Kurrama and Pinikura (PKKP) group in the west Pilbara region of Western Australia. Nicole Tan
Award-winning, hardworking real estate agent, Nicole is a Top 20% Nationwide, Trusted Agent, and ranked among REIWA’s Top 13 in WA. She completed triennial license while working full-time, expanded business into Southeast Asia, in just 2 years time her sales reached 31M, signifying extraordinary sales capability.

Kym Treasure
Kym Treasure is the founder and CEO of Audacia Audio, the only independent global audio advertising marketplace, headquartered in Perth. Following a successful international career, Kym started Audacia Audio in November 2022 when she realised there was an opportunity to simplify the complicated audio advertising landscape.

With almost two decades working in senior advertising sales across Asia for companies like Spotify and Near (now Azira), and The Economist in the UK, Kym saw hundreds of publishers and advertisers wasting money with disjointed and inefficient ways of buying and selling advertising. Kym brought advertising inventory together across thousands of shows and networks of podcasts, music, gaming and more, into a one-stop shop to make audio advertising simple.

Kym is growing Audacia Audio into a prominent international player in audio advertising, with clients around the world, by focusing on delivering simplicity, efficiency and inclusivity in audio for all.

Theo Tsorvas
Aged twenty-four, Theo Tsorvas, an unqualified high school dropout, self-funded a plant/equipment hire business. Mentally, he was prepared to fail before he succeeded; after a decade of on-the-job training and overcoming obstacles, he's now the owner/founder of numerous companies that feed into Consolidated Group of Companies (CGC), award-winning integrated earthmoving, transport and equipment solutions business servicing WA. Embodying resilience and focusing on solving clients' problems with a fleet of 300+ providing diversified services, Theo’s leadership has seen the group triple its revenue from 2022. Expanding operations dramatically from 2022 to 2024 saw CGC's Mechanical, Industrial Services, Transport, Hire and Training Departments expand by 2312%. Securing multiple long-term contracts allowed Theo to give back via SandonWA, a not-for-profit, empowering women's mining/transport/civil contributions. Mentoring his fellow handpicked Directors, he’s ensured business longevity and sustainable growth. Theo's legacy is leaving a structured organisation with equity and imparting business development knowledge to his sons.

Marc Damien Vlietstra
Marc Vliestra is General Manager and co-owner of Roys Sheds, a Forrestdale-based
manufacturer specialising in steel shed kits. A civil structural engineer and registered
builder, he turned a tough post-university job market into a multimillion-dollar family
enterprise in under a decade.

Initially constructing sheds himself, Marc saw firsthand what made designs practical yet
often hard to install. By blending proven concepts with innovative solutions, he created
sturdier, faster-to-assemble kits, establishing Roys Sheds as a leading manufacturer and
spurring the construction of a second factory.

Roys Sheds developed Web Shed, a 3D design tool currently licensed to around 60
companies, collectively generating 35,700 quote requests annually—an estimated $1 billion
in shed kit quotes. Roys Sheds has also created additional software for internal use that
generates bills of materials, produces engineering drawings, and manages quotes.

Beyond business, Marc hones his strategic mind in chess, ranking 19th in Western Australia.

My name is Matt Wardle and I am the Managing Director of HSA, a leading Commercial Marine Logistics and Port Services Company as an Owner/Operator of a fleet of 30+ vessels. Since its establishment in 2007, HSA has expanded its operations from its headquarters in Fremantle to key locations across Bunbury, Geraldton, and Dampier. I am an experienced event professional and founder of Event Support with Kirsty, a consultancy providing tailored event support, currently for two non-profits in Perth. With experience at large-scale and award-winning venues across the city, I have built a reputation for delivering seamless, high-impact events.
Beyond event execution, I am passionate about fostering strong community connections and using events as a platform for positive change. I volunteer as the Social Media Coordinator for Impound Feline Rescue and contribute as a member of RAC Arena’s Reconciliation Action Plan working group, helping to create more inclusive and culturally aware spaces.
With a focus on strategic event management, partnerships, and community engagement, I am committed to supporting organisations that make a difference. My goal is to create events that not only achieve their objectives but also leave a lasting impact on the community.

Chris Wilson
I started Chris Wilson Personal Training in 2016 at age 27 with three clients and no equipment in my home garage. Seeing a gap for high-end, boutique fitness for CEOs and high-net-worth individuals, I opened Chris Wilson Fitness Studio in Nedlands in 2021 as a sole trader. In our first year, we generated $412,000 by capping memberships at 50 and offering personalised small-group training.

Since then, revenue has grown to $1 million, our team has expanded to 14 staff and our personal training client base has grown from 15 to 150. Strong referrals, Google reviews, and media coverage have fuelled 30% projected growth for 2025, with revenue expected to reach $1.5 million in 2026 as we expand by another 2 studios. We’ve had 52,000+ studio visits, host events, grown our Instagram following from 6,000 to 12,000 and attracted clients including previous 40 Under 40 winners Adrian Fini and Paul Blackburne.

I’ve had the privilege to hold senior management and CEO roles since the age of 21, which included 16+ years with the YMCA and 5+ years with disability provider GIFSA (current) as CEO.
