Leon Uys

Leon Uys is a non-executive member of the DRA global board of directors and had worked for DRA for 23 years where he was instrumental in the organisation’s growth.

Before joining DRA, Mr Uys had almost 10 years of industry experience. He joined DRA in 1987, retired from his position as chief executive in 2013 and stepped down as non-executive director in May 2021.

Mr Uys qualified from the University of Witwatersrand as a Mechanical Engineer in 1988 and also holds a MDP Project Management from the University of South Africa.
