With only three years’ experience as a qualified plumber, Mr Hancock took over the struggling business and has managed to increase revenue significantly over the past two years.
The company has been a finalist in the Australian Small Business Awards two years running, won the Best Home-Based Belmont Business Award in 2016 and has been a finalist in several categories of the Master Plumber Association Awards for the past two years.
Mr Hancock has used his thirst for knowledge to improve the company and its offering, making it a market leader.
Through Hilton, Mr Hancock has maintained a long-term sponsorship with the Fremantle Italian Club and a local primary school, while personally raising more than $10,000 for Bright Blue by cycling from Broome to Kununurra.
